Role summary:The (USA) Manager, Technology Operations leads the planning, execution, and oversight of multiple technology projects within a program, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. This role involves managing resources, assessing risks, monitoring progress, and maintaining financial controls to deliver successful outcomes. The manager fosters strong stakeholder relationships through clear communication and collaboration, driving accountability and continuous improvement. By leveraging data analysis and organizational strategy, this position supports operational excellence and innovation while promoting a culture of integrity, development, and high performance across technology teams.
About the team:
The Technology Operations team leads the creation, implementation, and maintenance of item rules at POS, ensuring compliance with regulations such as recalls, age limits, and sales requirements for alcohol, tobacco, firearms, and financial services. The team manages complex programs involving stakeholder communication, financial oversight, and data analysis to support operational excellence. They coordinate cross-functional efforts to monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and deliver strategic objectives. Focused on continuous improvement, the team drives effective program management and operational strategies that enhance customer experience and uphold company standards across the US and Canada.
What you'll do:
- Define and manage multiple technology projects within programs, aligning goals and schedules with strategic objectives.
- Assess resource requirements, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
- Monitor project progress against milestones, lead coordination meetings, and take corrective actions to maintain program health.
- Oversee budgeting, track expenditures, and ensure financial alignment with project forecasts through effective governance.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, communicate project status clearly, and influence decisions using data-driven insights.
- Support technology process updates, develop talent through coaching, and promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in program management, including planning, estimation, monitoring, and control of medium to high-complexity technology projects.
- Strong financial management skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Excellent stakeholder communication abilities, capable of influencing and building consensus across teams.
- Proficient in data analysis to assess risks, benefits, and project performance.
- Solid understanding of organizational strategy and business operations aligned with technology initiatives.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
