Description
This position reports directly to the Regional Controller and plays an integral role in the accounting team.
Location – This position is based in Omaha, NE and requires in-office presence as we deeply value the collaboration, innovation, and culture that stem from working together.

As Staff Accountant, you will:
Accounts Receivable
- Update and maintain customers payments, invoices, and all related accounting records accurately and timely
- Maintain accounts receivable records; monitor outstanding balances and collaborate with operations to support collections
- Partner with operations to ensure revenue / work-in-progress are properly recognized in the correct accounting period
- Ensure consistency of accounting information between company CRM and accounting system
Accounts Payable
- Process vendor invoices and ensure proper coding, approvals and support documentation
- Manage vendor payments in accordance with payment terms and company cash flow
- Reconcile vendor statements, bill processing platform records and accounting systems records
- Monitor and update company credit card transactions to ensure proper classification and approvals
- Assist with intercompany billing and related recordkeeping
- Assist with other cash disbursements activities as needed
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in a staff accountant role is preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
