- Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions to perform routine testing, troubleshooting, environmental testing, and simple developmental engineering tasks
- Perform routine operational tests and fault isolation on production hardware and equipment to ensure conformance and design specifications
- Diagnose and isolate malfunctions down to component level
- Conduct defined engineering test and collect data as assigned
- Utilize routine development or diagnostic equipment including oscilloscope, DVM, signal generators, and similar test apparatus
- Execute test procedures, accurately record data, and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and military standards
- Ensure ongoing compliance with safety, quality, and security standards
This is a 4th shift position, working from 6am to 6:30pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Training will be conducted during 1st shift hours.
Basic Qualifications for Electronic Technician 3:
- High school diploma and a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience; OR an Associates Degree in Electronics or Technical with 2 or more years of relevant work experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- U.S citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications Electronic Technician 3:
- Associate of Science degree or higher (or Technical degree) in electronic technology or electronics focused major OR graduate of a two-year, full time electronic technology school or six months of military electronics school
- Experience with RF applications, automated testing, and environmental testing
- Experience using SAP Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software to document testing performed, enter test results, and create Quality Notifications for any discrepancies found
- Military experience working with electronic equipment/systems
- Experience with continuous improvement and process improvement principles
