Position Summary
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents while promoting their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence. You will work closely with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
Assist residents with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and mobility
Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff
Provide compassionate and respectful care while maintaining resident dignity and privacy
Follow individualized care plans and established facility policies and procedures
Accurately document care provided and resident observations
Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas
Answer call lights and respond promptly to resident needs
Assist with maintaining a comfortable and safe environment
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team
Promote a positive, respectful, and resident-centered culture
Qualifications
Active California CNA certification required
Current CPR certification preferred
Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care
Ability to follow instructions and prioritize resident needs
