Job Purpose:

The Master Data manager is responsible for end to end delivery of the GL Master Data and Support function: maintenance of the GL master data in SAP, as well as other satellite reporting systems (Blackline/Tririga); supporting period-end processes, supporting Profectus UAT phase, including all new finance master data processes in MDG/ S4. The position is also tasked with driving and delivering RTR service excellence with an emphasis on customer service and continuous process improvement to further enhance the RTR service level, efficiency and effectiveness.

Key contributions:

GL Master Data and Support function

Responsible for Finance master data maintenance, opening and closing the accounting periods and sub-ledgers in SAP, administration of Blackline, Trintech, IBM Tririga lease management, MDG:

SAP GL Support role, responsible for:

  • Creation & Maintenance of GL Accounts, Account Groups, GL Account Sets, Charts of Accounts; GL Acc Hierarchies
  • Creation & Maintenance of Profit Centers and PC Hierarchies
  • Creation & Maintenance of Cost Centers and CC Hierarchies
  • Creation & Maintenance of Consolidation Units and respective Hierarchies
  • GL Accounts’ Balance Uploads from SAP to Trintech
  • Opening/Closing of the Financial Periods
  • Exchange Rates loading and verification
  • Quality Control Checks (Pre-Close Checks)
  • Accounts’ balances Roll-forward at Year-end (AP, AR & GL ledgers in PR1/CFIN systems)
  • MDG Master Data maintainer

Blackline/ Trintech Administrator role, responsible for:

  • Level 1 support for all users; Point of Contact with Trintech Support
  • GL master data and User master data maintenance
  • Financial periods maintenance
  • Maintenance of pre-defined approval routings
  • User groups/Security groups maintenance
  • Reconciliations’ master data and schedules
  • Trintech reporting

‘Tririga’ Administrator role, responsible for:

  • Level 1 support for all users; Point of Contact with IBM Product Support and other external support providers and partners
  • User master data maintenance
  • Profit centers, Cost Centers and Vendors master data maintenance
  • Lease re-assignment
  • Exchange Rates and IBRs loading and verification
  • Opening/Closing of the Financial Periods

Profectus User acceptance testing and stabilization tasks:

  • Complete testing of all new master data governance processes in S4/other satellite systems
  • Work with Senior manager and wider project team to resolve outstanding open defects

Financial Services Delivery

  • Responds to identified local customer issues, queries and needs applicable for RTR GL Support and handles the so identified issues;
  • Supports financial period closing process and responds on all issues related to GL master data;
  • Prepares financial and other reports for senior leadership through standardized monthly reporting;
  • Performs general ledger and financial entity master data oversight;
  • Executes process improvement efforts throughout general ledger support functions, including the identification of improvement opportunities, and the implementation of enhancements;
  • Partners with IT Dept. and supports wider RTR Teams on special projects that impact the financial reporting landscape;
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, relevant accounting requirements and internal controls (SOX) (e.g. approvals, financial guidelines, etc.);
  • Coordinates and corresponds with all internal and external auditors as assigned;

RTR Projects

  • Supports wider transformation agenda in RTR
  • Supports the implementation of the new Finance master data governance model in CCEP in conjunction with the wider Profectus team
  • Supports the RTR Leadership in driving efficient and effective end-to-end RTR processes;
  • Identifies areas of improvements and strives for continuous improvement;
  • Assists in developing and sharing best practice processes;

Technical Competencies

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of Accounting systems and processes experience, preferably in a multi-national organization and/or Shared Services environment
  • Ability to address or escalate complex issues within the Record to Report area
  • Advanced finance master data and technical accounting knowledge
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong SAP background essential
