Raytheon Digital Technology’s OSQC Digital Solutions group is looking for Full Stack Application Developers to design, build, and maintain technical solutions that address complex and evolving business needs. They apply established development principles, modern engineering practices, and sound architectural concepts to deliver reliable, high‑quality applications. Because teams often support multiple products simultaneously, developers work collaboratively across disciplines to ensure consistency, maintainability, and alignment with business goals.

The Software Engineering Center of Excellence delivers work using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), requiring developers to communicate clearly, present ideas effectively, and explain technical concepts in ways that are accessible to non‑technical audiences. Developers are also expected to develop a foundational understanding of the business processes their solutions support, ensuring that functionality aligns with real‑world workflows and organizational objectives.

What You Will Do

• Work with customers, solution architects, and peers to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain technical solutions.
• Present technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Assist team members in implementation of technical solutions and troubleshooting technical issues.

Qualifications You Must Have  

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Front-end development experience with modern frameworks: Typescript (Angular, React, or similar), CSS (Bootstrap, FontAwesome, or similar), JavaScript (AngularJS, jQuery, or similar).
• Back-end development experience with technologies and frameworks such as: Java, Python, .Net, MVC Frameworks (Spring Boot, .NET Core, Flask or similar), ORM's (JPA, EFCore or similar), Testing Frameworks (JUnit, Pytest, XUnit or similar).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate oral/written communication skills.
• Proficiency in analysis and problem-solving.
• Experience w/ relational database management systems such as Oracle, MariaDB (MySQL), and/or SQL ServerAgile software development and CI/CD experience.
• Working knowledge of Object Oriented design patterns, cloud-native architecture and database automation (e.g. Liquibase, EF Core Management or similar).

Remote: Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
