Job Description
Product Managers at U.S. Bank are customer obsessed in driving product visioning, planning and development to deliver on our human + digital product strategy and staying one step ahead of evolving economic, technological, and customer needs.
As a Product Manager, you will:
- Identify, analyze and interpret business data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs and requirements.
- Activate the connective tissue between U.S. Bank, customer experience, digital, technology, and business line strategy to identify and prioritize product / portfolio opportunities, and establish the product vision, charter and roadmap.
- Defines product outcomes and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to prioritize Features/Epics and breaks down work into actionable steps to facilitate product discovery, design, development and delivery.
- Manages the end-to-end product lifecycle and drives the product roadmap leveraging OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
- Creates the product in conjunction with agile, experience design, technology and risk partners to achieve business and customer outcomes.
- In the case of technical products, understands and cares for the technical features, debt reduction and modernization of the technical product with expertise in the technology required of the product

- Expertise on the critical interdependencies among product model system elements that help and hinder performance; ability to plan and design solutions that synchronize resources to achieve business results using business metrics, key performance indicators, design systems, service blueprints, and reusability

- Strong customer centricity to implement strategies and techniques used to ensure that customers have a positive experience with the organization's products and services at every touch point
- Knowledge of technical aspects of software products; ability to design, configure and integrate technical aspects of software products
- Knowledge of Agile ways of working, knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the accountable leader and single-threaded owner for multi-year strategic initiatives, with responsibility for outcomes, investment planning, scope management, and overall program success.
- Establish and communicate a compelling long-term vision and North Star that guides decision-making across changing priorities and business conditions.
- Balance immediate delivery objectives with long-term architecture, platform modernization, and strategic transformation goals.
- Make timely, data-driven prioritization and trade-off decisions that maximize customer value, business impact, and investment returns.
- Drive alignment and accountability across business, technology, operations, finance, and risk partners through strong leadership and governance.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes and executive-level communications.
- Create organizational clarity around decision rights, ownership, accountability, and execution priorities.
- Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies while minimizing unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Establish, measure, and communicate progress against defined outcomes, benefits realization targets, and strategic objectives.
- Lead SIC and CapEx processes, including business case development, ROI tracking, resource planning, capacity management, and benefits realization.
- Drive large-scale platform transformation and modernization initiatives across multiple workstreams and phases of delivery.
- Develop organizational capabilities and future leaders while fostering knowledge sharing and sustainable operating models.
- Challenge assumptions, continuously evaluate roadmap priorities, and identify opportunities to improve customer, operational, and business outcomes.

- Strategic transformation leadership experience delivering large-scale, enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Proven success leading complex platform implementations, modernization efforts, and business transformation programs.
- Strong technical acumen and the ability to partner effectively with engineering, architecture, and technology leaders.
- A track record of removing organizational barriers, influencing without authority, and driving execution in highly matrixed environments.
- Exceptional collaboration, communication, stakeholder management, and active listening skills.
- Experience building trust, alignment, and momentum among senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Strong financial and business acumen, including investment planning, ROI measurement, and benefits realization.
- Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) expertise and a strong understanding of processes and operational workflows in that domain.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business outcomes through disciplined execution, governance, and accountability.
About the Team
The Global Corporate Trust Collateralized Loan Obligation product team is focused on platform modernization, operational excellence, and measurable business value creation. This role serves as the accountable leader and single-threaded owner responsible for defining the vision, shaping investment strategy, driving execution, and delivering tangible outcomes across the organization.
Operating at the intersection of business strategy and technology execution, this leader will partner closely with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, drive decision-making, and accelerate transformation. The role requires the ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution, bringing clarity to complex challenges while ensuring delivery against critical business objectives.
This is a unique opportunity to lead one of U.S. Bank's most significant transformation initiatives within Investment Services, influence enterprise strategy, and deliver lasting impact through large-scale platform modernization and business transformation.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $181,730.00 - $213,800.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
