As a Quality Inspector, you will inspect finished products, components, or materials. You will ensure, they meet quality standards and specifications. Conducting visual inspections of products to identify defects
Using various tools and equipment to measure and test product quality
Documenting inspection results and communicating them to appropriate personnel
Approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products Active Defects
Defects per day Skill - Be detail oriented and able to identify and report on any non-conformances or defects
Skill - Be able to operate inspection equipment
Skill - Be able to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints
Competency - Be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes Written Communications - Is able to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles; can get messages across that have the desired effect.
Priority Setting - Spends his/her time and the time of others on what’s important; quickly zeros in on the critical few and puts the trivial many aside; can quickly sense what will help or hinder accomplishing a goal; eliminates roadblocks; creates focus.
