Job Summary

This position leads a team of analytics professionals supporting Strategic Sourcing, Contracting, and Vendor Management functions. The role is responsible for developing actionable insights from spend, supplier, contract, market, and operational data to drive cost optimization, value creation, risk mitigation, operational insights and supplier performance improvements.

As Sourcing & Vendor Strategy’s data steward, this leader will establish data ownership, governance standards, and accountability for procurement-related data assets, ensuring consistency, quality, accessibility, and compliance across the department. The role partners with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and business stakeholders to develop data-driven visualizations, deliver executive-level insights, advance analytics capabilities, and enable informed decision-making that maximizes vendor return on investment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Business Statistics, Accounting or Finance OR 4 years’ experience.

• 7 years’ experience interfacing with internal stakeholders and/or internal clients.

• 7 years’ experience requiring data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data. 

• 4 years’ leadership experience, including 2 years in a management position.
• Experience with vendor contracts, key metadata, and the high-level products and services procured by a large services organization 

• Demonstrated experience applying quantitative and qualitative standards, performance measures, and statistical methodologies. 

• Negotiation, decision-making, and analytical skills. 

• Verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills. 

• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. 

• PC proficiency to include Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 years’ experience interfacing with Procurement and/or Supply Chain professionals.

• Master’s Degree in Business Analytics or Information Management.

• Alteryx Certification (Essentials, Designer Core, or Designer Advanced).

• Ability to code in Python and Microsoft Visual Studio Code.

• Microsoft PowerBI Certification (PL-300 or DP-600).

This position is expected to adhere to HCSC's hybrid FLEX policy of 3 days in office and 2 days WFH weekly.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Flex employees are expected to be in the office a minimum of three days a week. Management will have discretion to modify an employee's weekly schedule for exigent circumstances.

Base Pay Range

$121,200.00 - $225,200.00
