Position Description:
 

The Clinical Courier is responsible for assisting with daily discharges of patients by bringing them home or to their next level of care and to assist Care Management staff with daily tasks necessary to carry out discharge planning activities.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
3. Professional, courteous, and positive attitude.
4. Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
5. This position requires the ability to operate a vehicle as a job-related function; candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle record acceptable under company and insurance guidelines.
6. BLS certification required, or will obtain prior to transporting discharged patients.
