Job Summary
The Assistant Vice President role is a senior leadership position with accountability for organizational effectiveness, people leadership at scale, and operational risk across Alternatives NAV delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Own BAU delivery across multiple funds, teams, and processes
- Manage operational risk, service quality, and control effectiveness
- Act as First Line of Defense owner, ensuring risks arising from processes, people, and systems are identified and mitigated
- Embed Risk Excellence principles into daily operations, decisions, and escalation practices
- Lead and develop large teams, including multiple Officers and senior staff
- Drive workforce planning, capacity management, and succession planning
- Establish operating rhythms, escalation models, and governance forums
- Ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and controls
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to remediate issues and findings
- Support transformation and operating‑model improvements with appropriate risk assessment
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of alternatives or complex fund operations experience
- Demonstrated ownership of end‑to‑end processes and operational risk management
- Proven experience managing large teams, including multiple Officers
- Strong organizational management capability
- Preferred experience and strong working knowledge of Geneva and Investran
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
