Event Operations Manager

A premier, passionate catering group is seeking proven leaders for two Event Operations Manager openings. This group is known for delivering exceptional quality in food, service and hospitality, proven by consistently increasing sales year over year. Armed with a dedicated team of catering and event staff, these roles will oversee the operations and execution of all on-premise events at their dedicated banquet and catering facility OR off-premise events around the KC Metro. Success in these roles will be found in candidates whose experience is focused on leading operations and execution for catered events of all shapes and sizes while also managing and developing hourly team members.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all event operations before, during, and after events.
• Ensure all events are executed according to company standards of hospitality, quality, safety, and professionalism.
• Coordinate with Catering Sales, Culinary, Operations, and Event Staff to ensure seamless event execution.
• Maintain readiness of all event spaces, equipment, furnishings, and event resources.
• Anticipate operational needs and proactively resolve challenges before they impact the guest experience.
• Ensure all event details, timelines, room setups, and service expectations are executed accurately.

Position Requirements

• 3+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, catering, events, restaurants, hotels, banquet operations, or venue management.
• Experience leading teams in a high-volume guest service environment.
• Experience managing events, banquets, weddings, corporate functions, or hospitality operations preferred.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Compensation Package Details

Base Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Bonus: Uncapped bonus potential, estimated earnings of 5-10k per year
