Composition Brands is seeking a skilled MIG/TIG/Plasma Welder to join our Fabrication team. This position is responsible for welding metal components using specified processes while meeting established safety, quality, and production standards. The successful candidate will produce strong, smooth, and consistent welds while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.

Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Work shifts and hours are as mandated by management.
Position Overview:
The MIG/TIG/Plasma Welder is responsible for welding metal parts together using specified processes, following required procedures, and using appropriate jigs and fixtures. Once trained, this position will set up and perform changeovers on the plasma corner welder and support required production output while maintaining established safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce strong, fully penetrated welds that are smooth and consistent.
- Follow required procedures and use appropriate jigs and fixtures.
- Once trained, set up and perform changeovers on the plasma corner welder.
- Maintain required production output levels.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Maintain production records as required.
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Perform duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with at least one consecutive year of MIG/TIG welding experience.
- Demonstrated ability to set up and adjust MIG/TIG welders.
- Demonstrated ability to use and operate hand tools.
- Demonstrated hand-eye coordination necessary for high-volume, repetitive welding.
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to work shifts and hours mandated by management and pass a drug screen.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods, including up to three hours without a break and up to twelve hours with breaks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from ground level to chest height.
- Ability to push and pull up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to handle large quantities of component parts on a repetitive basis.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a manufacturing and fabrication environment.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including welding-specific PPE and other plant-required equipment.
- Must follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
