What You Will Get To Do:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director to join our team at SS&C Fund Services (Asia) Limited. This role will involve overseeing and managing a portfolio of complex fund administration services, ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of fund administration professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
- Oversee the daily operations and service delivery for a diverse portfolio of alternative investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, and real estate funds.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and client service level agreements.
- Act as a primary point of contact for key client relationships, fostering strong partnerships and proactively addressing client needs and concerns.
- Review and approve complex financial statements, investor reports, and other fund-related documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the operations team, identifying and implementing efficiencies and best practices.
- Participate in new client onboarding and due diligence processes.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., legal, compliance, technology) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare and present management reports and updates to senior leadership.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in fund administration, with a strong focus on alternative investments.
- Proven track record of managing and leading teams in a financial services environment.
- In-depth knowledge of various fund structures, financial instruments, and accounting principles (IFRS/US GAAP).
- Strong understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., SFC, MAS, Cayman Islands Monetary Authority).
- Excellent client relationship management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
- Proficiency in fund accounting software (e.g., Geneva, Advent Partner) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
