Position Overview
To own warehouse and inventory operations across all Digi locations, keeping inventory accurate, material ready, and assets accounted for, so every project and service call has what it needs, when it needs it. The Warehouse & Inventory Manager runs disciplined receiving, kitting, and stocking across all locations, controls cost and shrinkage and gives field teams and leadership real-time visibility into what Digi has and where it is.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Accuracy and Control: own inventory accuracy across all locations through disciplined cycle counts, annual physical count, keeping shrinkage and carrying cost under control. 
  • Material Readiness: Receive, inspect, kit, verify, and stage material so every project has completed, ready kits at least 72 hours before the required start date.  
  • Travel Required: Must be comfortable traveling 25-30% to other Digi locations. 
  • Assets and Warehouse Management: Track company tools, equipment, maintain an accurate asset register, and keep every warehouse location organized, safe and OSHA compliant.
  • Discrepancy and RMA Resolution: Resolve inventory discrepancies within 72 hours and manage RMA's from initiation through vendor escalation and credit resolution. 
  • Team Leadership and Development: lead, coach, and development inventory coordinators across all branches, running a consistent one-on-one and development cadence building cross trained coverage so no location is a single point of failure.
  • Reporting and Continuous Improvement: Build and refine warehouse SOP's and deliver monthly inventory health reporting on value by branch, storages, aged inventory, open RMA's, and write-off exposure. 

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in warehouse and inventory management, preferably in the security systems or low voltage industry.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing high performing warehouse or inventory teams in a multi-location environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of inventory control systems such as ConnectWise or a comparable ERP/inventory platform.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical teams, Project Managers, Procurement, and executive leadership.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to resolve inventory discrepancies and material readiness challenges while maintaining a project -and customer-centric approach.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable utilizing a computer in an office setting for long periods of time.
  • Must be comfortable traveling to and working on job-sites.
  • Must have a current, valid driver's license in the state of which you are applying and have the ability to meet our company driving standards.
