Job Description

As a Unarmed Security Officer Graveyard Train Station in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; document visitor activity and direct guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Maintain detailed daily activity logs and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
