Pay: $65,000 per year
Schedule: Monday - Friday
On Call Weekends: As Needed
 

Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to help lead day-to-day operations across assigned accounts. This position is responsible for keeping staffing, scheduling, employee readiness, compliance, and service expectations aligned with operational requirements.

The Operations Manager works closely with field officers, supervisors, recruiting, and District-level leadership to resolve issues, maintain coverage, and support consistent execution. The role requires someone who can organize competing priorities, communicate clearly, recognize problems early, and follow through on solutions.
 

Key Areas of Responsibility

Operational Leadership

  • Direct daily operational activities for assigned accounts and teams.
  • Monitor staffing, post coverage, employee readiness, and continuity of service.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and field personnel when operational concerns arise.
  • Review service performance and address issues that require corrective action.
  • Help implement changes to procedures, staffing plans, and operational processes.
  • Keep District-level leadership informed of significant issues, trends, and required actions.
  • Assist with maintaining consistent execution of contractual and company expectations.
     

Scheduling & Workforce Coordination

  • Develop and maintain staffing plans for assigned positions.
  • Review schedules for coverage, accuracy, overtime, vacancies, and other labor concerns.
  • Coordinate responses to call-offs, open posts, schedule changes, and staffing shortages.
  • Work with supervisors to maintain appropriate workforce levels.
  • Monitor labor usage and identify scheduling concerns that may affect operations.
  • Review timekeeping records and coordinate resolution of identified discrepancies.
     

Compliance & Employee Readiness

  • Track required licenses, certifications, qualifications, and position-specific credentials.
  • Verify that assigned personnel maintain the qualifications required for their positions.
  • Monitor credential expiration dates and coordinate timely renewals or updates.
  • Maintain working knowledge of applicable state and local licensing requirements.
  • Partner with supervisors to correct documentation or qualification issues.
  • Support ongoing workforce readiness and compliance with company procedures.
     

Recruiting & Team Development

  • Communicate staffing needs and hiring priorities to recruiting and operational leadership.
  • Assist with applicant screening, interview coordination, onboarding, and placement activities.
  • Support training and development efforts for supervisors and field employees.
  • Help identify recurring performance issues and coordinate appropriate follow-up.
  • Encourage consistent performance and accountability across assigned teams.
     

Equipment & Company Property

  • Monitor the availability of uniforms, equipment, and other assigned operational resources.
  • Identify shortages, damaged items, or replacement needs.
  • Coordinate replenishment and replacement requests with appropriate internal departments.
  • Maintain accountability for company-issued equipment and property.
     

Client Service & Quality Control

  • Support day-to-day operational communication for assigned accounts.
  • Monitor service consistency and identify areas requiring improvement.
  • Conduct field reviews and operational visits when needed.
  • Evaluate staffing, professional appearance, documentation, and compliance with established procedures.
  • Respond to service concerns and coordinate corrective measures with the appropriate leadership.
  • Provide timely updates to the District Manager regarding staffing, employee matters, operational performance, and client concerns.
  • Build productive working relationships through responsive communication and dependable follow-through.
     

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in private security, law enforcement, military, or a related field.
  • Strong ability to organize multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to assess operational challenges and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Working knowledge of applicable state and local security licensing requirements.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication with District-level leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience coordinating employee schedules, staffing, or workforce assignments.
  • Background managing contract-based services or operations across multiple locations.
  • Experience using scheduling, workforce management, or timekeeping systems.
  • TrackTik experience preferred.
  • Experience maintaining employee credentials or compliance records.
  • Familiarity with operational inspections, audits, or quality assurance processes.
