As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will conduct routine patrols throughout galleries and public spaces, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming visitor experience. You will communicate professionally with guests and staff, report concerns, and contribute to Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven team culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, volunteers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout museum galleries, public spaces, staff areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor-flow procedures, including providing directions, answering general questions, and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner in accordance with established procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and location contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
