It is important to note that this is not a remote job, and the successful candidate will be stationed at our office location to interact directly with our valued patients and staff.As a cornerstone of first impressions and a vital component of our patient-care system, the role of a Dental Receptionist is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our clinic. We are not just looking for an employee; we are seeking a new member for our dental family who will contribute to our welcoming atmosphere and provide outstanding service to everyone who walks through our doors.Duties and Responsibilities:Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-outAnswer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiriesVerify and update patient information accuratelyCollect payments, process transactions, and provide receiptsSend statements via office management software and via emailMaintain a clean, organized front desk areaCommunicate effectively with the clinical and administrative teamsSupport daily front office operations to ensure a smooth patient flowRequirements:Authorized to work in the USGood at algebra for calculating percentage and estimate adjustmentsMinimum of 2–3 years of in-person customer service experiencePrior dental office experience preferred but not requiredStrong verbal communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask efficiently in a busy, fast-paced settingComfortable answering high-volume phone calls and speaking with patientsProfessional, positive, and patient-focused demeanorReliable and flexible with work hours, including overtime when neededStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to remain calm and professional under pressureWillingness to learn dental terminology, procedures, and office systemsTeam-oriented with a strong work ethicEmployment DetailsLocation: SunnyvaleWorkdays: Monday to Friday between 8:00am – 5:30pmEmployment Type: W-2Schedule: Part-time (3 days/week) Full-time (Monday - Friday)Probationary Period: 90 daysCompensation & BenefitsHourly Pay: $24-$28, depending on experience and qualifications.Paid training.Dental insurance benefit.PTO / Sick-LeaveHoliday pay (full-time)Supportive and collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional growth.Ideal CandidateSomeone who is trainable, personable, dependable, and motivated to grow
