Description

We’re a product powerhouse building a full-stack ecosystem for iGaming businesses. 40M+ players. 250 brilliant minds. One bet: our technology is so rock-solid that we stake our own business on it.

From our hubs in Ukraine, Georgia, the UK, and the Philippines, we blend real-world experience, a battle-tested Tech Radar, all within an open-door culture.

We invite the UI/UX Artist to join the VeliPlay team.

VeliPlay is our homegrown game studio — where crash, instant, and real-time mechanics meet bold ideas and sharp execution. Backed by the full power of the VeliTech ecosystem, we built games for today’s players — and tomorrow’s hits.

Here, dev meets design, sound meets strategy, and every sprint is driven by one goal: crafting gameplay that feels alive.

In this role, you will:
  • Design UI/UX for mobile games, web games, mobile applications, and web applications.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, layouts, and interactive prototypes.
  • Develop final visual designs for interfaces.
  • Create game and product UI elements such as buttons, panels, HUDs, cards, popups, tabs, icons, menus, and other interface components.
  • Independently create and refine graphic assets required for interface tasks.
  • Work with mobile and desktop interfaces across different resolutions and aspect ratios.
  • Create and maintain design systems, reusable components, and visual guidelines.
  • Work on mobile game interfaces including lobbies, progression systems, currencies, shops, offers, missions, events, rewards, inventories, collections, and other game systems.
  • Design interfaces for web and mobile products including navigation, forms, dashboards, profiles, settings, filters, search, and other product scenarios.
  • Work with interfaces for games across different genres, including casual, casino, and slot games.
  • Use AI tools for concept generation, visual exploration, asset creation and variation, and speeding up the production process.
  • Refine AI-generated assets manually and bring them into a consistent visual style.
  • Prepare layouts and assets for developers.
  • Review the quality of UI implementation after integration.
  • Independently explore solutions and propose multiple options when the task requires it.
Skills and experience you will need:
  • Strong experience as a UI/UX Designer or UI Artist in game or product development.
  • Strong portfolio with polished final UI work, not only wireframes and UX schemes.
  • Excellent understanding of fundamental UI/UX principles.
  • Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, composition, typography, spacing, color theory, and visual rhythm.
  • Ability to design clear navigation and information architecture.
  • Experience creating user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
  • Ability to work with information-dense interfaces while maintaining readability and clarity.
  • Ability to draw UI elements manually and independently create missing visual assets.
  • Good understanding of shape, color, lighting, materials, and volume.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
  • Experience using AI tools for generating and refining visual content.
  • Experience with reference-based generation, image-to-image workflows, style exploration, and asset variations.
  • Ability to independently refine AI-generated results to production quality.
  • Experience working with mobile and desktop layouts.
  • Understanding of responsive and adaptive design.
  • Understanding of touch interface principles.
  • Experience working with game or product interfaces.
  • Understanding of common game UI patterns and meta systems.
  • Ability to work within an existing art direction and maintain visual consistency across a product.
  • Ability to clearly explain and justify design decisions.
  • High level of independence and ownership over the final result.
  • Ability to take a high-level task, independently develop the UX, propose a visual solution, and bring it to a polished final state.
Would be a plus:
  • Experience working with casual and mobile games.
  • Experience working with casino or slot games.
  • Experience with live ops and in-game events.
  • Illustration skills.
  • Experience with UI animation.
  • Experience with Spine.
  • Experience building and developing design systems.
  • Experience working on products from early concept stages through release.
