Looking to build a career in Health & Safety, Compliance and Continuous Improvement?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business where you'll play a key role in supporting Health & Safety, compliance and quality systems across two busy production sites.
If you're highly organised, enjoy improving processes and have a keen eye for detail, this varied role offers genuine career development. You'll receive training and support while taking increasing ownership of compliance, document control and audit activities, making a real impact on the business.
The Role
Working closely with the senior management team, you'll support the day-to-day administration of Health & Safety and compliance systems whilst helping to standardise processes across two manufacturing sites.
No two days will be the same. One day you could be reviewing work instructions and updating training records, the next you'll be assisting with internal audits, supporting risk assessments or helping prepare documentation for external compliance programmes.
As you develop within the role, you'll gradually take ownership of key compliance activities and become an integral part of the company's continuous improvement programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and control Health & Safety and compliance documentation.
- Review, update and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
- Coordinate employee inductions and maintain training records.
- Support the review and updating of risk assessments.
- Assist with internal Health & Safety and 5S audits, tracking actions through to completion.
- Help prepare documentation for external audits and compliance programmes.
- Organise and maintain technical documentation, including product compliance records and document libraries.
- Produce regular compliance reports and monitor key actions.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across both manufacturing sites.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident managing documents, records and administrative processes.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Able to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A confident communicator who enjoys working with people across different departments.
- Proactive, enthusiastic and eager to learn.
- Interested in developing a long-term career within Health & Safety, Compliance or Quality.
