Consultant Pulmonologist

Location: Papua New Guinea

We are recruiting an experienced Consultant Pulmonologist to join a leading multidisciplinary private hospital providing specialist medical services to a growing patient population.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced respiratory physician looking for an international role with an attractive net salary package and full relocation support.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic respiratory diseases
• Conduct outpatient respiratory clinics
• Manage inpatient respiratory cases
• Perform bronchoscopy and other respiratory procedures where appropriate
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinical meetings
• Support ICU and emergency teams with respiratory and ventilated patients
• Mentor junior medical staff
• Participate in CME and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Specialist qualification in Pulmonology / Respiratory Medicine / Chest Medicine
• Current specialist registration
• Minimum 5 years' post-specialist experience
• Strong communication skills
• English proficiency
