Job Description

As a Security Officer Warehouse Full Time Unarmed in Sparrows Point, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, exterior perimeter, parking areas, access points, and loading docks to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized personnel and vehicles, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Assist with maintaining orderly traffic flow and adherence to site rules for employees, vendors, and drivers entering and departing the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
