Senior Transactions Analyst - Retail

Reporting to the General Manager, Transactions - Retail, the Senior Transactions Analyst - Retail plays a pivotal role in supporting acquisitions, disposals and broader transactional activity across Dexus' retail funds platform. Combining advanced financial modelling, commercial analysis, due diligence and transaction execution, this role will contribute to the successful delivery of high-profile investment opportunities and strategic initiatives.

Working alongside an experienced and highly regarded transactions and retail team, you will partner with key stakeholders across the business to assess opportunities, influence investment decisions and support complex transactions from origination through to completion.

This role offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious transactions professional to increase their ownership of deals, broaden their commercial exposure and develop towards a future Transactions Manager pathway.

You will make an impact by:

• Playing a key role in the acquisition, disposal and execution of transactions across Dexus' growing retail platform.
• Translating complex financial and market analysis into clear commercial insights that inform investment decisions.
• Leading due diligence and transaction workstreams, ensuring opportunities are thoroughly evaluated and efficiently executed.
• Preparing investment recommendations and presenting findings to senior stakeholders and governance committees.
• Building strong relationships with internal teams, advisers and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
• Identifying market opportunities, risks and trends that support portfolio growth and performance.
• Enhancing transaction processes and tools to improve efficiency, consistency and decision making.
• Developing towards increased transaction ownership while contributing to a high-performing and collaborative team.

About You

You are a collaborative and commercially minded professional who takes initiative, builds trusted relationships and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You combine strong financial and analytical capability with sound commercial judgement, enabling you to translate complex information into clear investment insights.

A confident communicator, you can influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes with a high degree of ownership and accountability. Most importantly, you bring a genuine passion for real asset investing and a desire to play a meaningful role in the execution of transactions across a growing retail platform.

You will bring:

• Tertiary qualification in Property, Real Estate, Land Economics, Commerce, Business or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience within property transactions, funds management, private equity or a related investment environment.
• Demonstrated experience supporting acquisitions, disposals and broader transaction activity. Retail shopping centre exposure is beneficial.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical capability, ideally with exposure to Forbury, ARGUS and/or EstateMaster.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear commercial recommendations and investment insights.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience driving process improvement, operational efficiency or best-practice ways of working.
• Established industry network and a genuine interest in building market relationships.
• CA, CFA, MBA or Master of Applied Finance qualifications are highly regarded.
