Reporting to the P&O Site Head in Toulouse, the Senior People & Organization Business Partner (P&OBP) acts as a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees across a dedicated client group. You will partner closely with management teams to align HR initiatives with business objectives while ensuring compliance with French labor law and company policies.

The Senior P&OBP will be a critical partner in enabling this transformation while ensuring a positive employee experience and strong business performance.

What You’ll Do:

Strategic Business Partnership
Partner with senior leaders to drive organizational effectiveness and support business growth.
Translate business priorities into people strategies and actionable HR plans.
Provide coaching and guidance to managers on leadership, employee engagement, organizational design, and talent development.
Support workforce planning and succession planning activities.
 
Employee Relations & Labor Law
Advise managers on complex employee relations issues and employment law matters.
Ensure compliance with French labor legislation, collective agreements, and company policies.
Partner with employee representative bodies and support social dialogue initiatives.
Manage  performance management situations, disciplinary processes and individual employee cases.
 
Talent Management
Work closely with the talent acquisition team to attract & retain our talents
Lead talent review and succession planning processes.
Support employee development, career management, and internal mobility initiatives.
Identify critical talent and implement retention strategies.
Coach managers on performance management and development planning.
 
Compensation & Benefits
Support annual compensation review cycles, promotion processes, and merit increases.
Advise leaders on reward practices and internal equity considerations.
Contribute to compensation benchmarking alignment and organizational workforce analyses.
 
Change Management
Lead and support organizational transformation projects.
Drive change management initiatives linked to business evolution, integration, or cultural transformation.
Facilitate communication plans and employee engagement activities during periods of change.
 
HR Operations & Projects
Ensure effective deployment of global and local HR programs.
Monitor key HR metrics and provide data-driven recommendations.
Participate in cross-functional and international HR projects.
Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience.
 
Who You are:

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Law, or a related field.

• Experience : minimum 8-10 years of progressive HR business partnering experience, including significant HR Business Partner responsibilities.

• Fluent French and English, both written and spoken.

• Previous experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, healthcare, and ideally highly regulated manufacturing sectors.

• Strong knowledge of French labor law and employee relations.

• Experience supporting senior leaders in a matrix and international environment.

• Strategic thinking with strong business acumen.

• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to influence and challenge constructively at all organizational levels.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

• Experience managing organizational change and transformation projects.

• High level of discretion and professional integrity.
