• First and Second Shift assignments based on operational needs

Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is hiring a Part-Time Armed Mobile Patrol Security Officer to provide security services across multiple commercial properties in the Denver area. This role combines vehicle patrols with foot inspections to help safeguard client facilities, employees, visitors, and assets.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and capable of making sound decisions while working independently. Officers must maintain a professional presence, respond effectively to incidents, and accurately document security-related activities.

Primary Responsibilities

Mobile Patrol Operations

• Conduct scheduled vehicle and foot patrols of assigned commercial properties.
• Inspect parking lots, building exteriors, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter fencing.
• Lock and unlock facilities as directed by site procedures.
• Maintain a highly visible presence to discourage criminal activity and unauthorized access.

Security Monitoring

• Observe for suspicious activity, trespassing, vandalism, or unsafe conditions.
• Identify potential security risks and report findings promptly.
• Monitor properties for safety hazards, equipment issues, or maintenance concerns.
• Verify that restricted areas remain secure throughout the shift.

Incident Response

• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Evaluate situations calmly and take appropriate action within company guidelines.
• Coordinate with supervisors, emergency responders, or law enforcement when necessary.
• Preserve scene integrity until additional assistance arrives when appropriate.

Reporting & Documentation

• Complete accurate daily activity logs and detailed incident reports.
• Document patrol findings using company-approved reporting systems.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding operational updates.
• Ensure all documentation is completed before the end of each shift.

Professional Standards

• Follow all post orders, client instructions, and company policies.
• Represent Citadel Security USA with professionalism and integrity.
• Handle confidential information responsibly.
• Maintain proper appearance and equipment readiness throughout each assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Active Guard Card required.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Personal vehicle available for work assignments.
• Personal firearm meeting company and state requirements.
• Strong observation and situational awareness skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in armed security, mobile patrol, military service, or law enforcement.
• Strong report-writing and documentation experience.
• Ability to remain composed during high-pressure situations.
• Experience conducting commercial property patrols.

• Multiple commercial properties throughout the Denver area.
