Description
Pennsylvania’s premier distributor of janitorial and office supplies is seeking a motivated team member for a part-time driver and warehouse role in our Altoona Distribution Department. We pride ourselves on offering a family-oriented, fun work environment!
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a part-time fill-in CDL A fill-in driver, delivering janitorial supplies and unloading at designated customer sites.
- Operate overnight routes to OH, MA, and CT, as well as key customer routes in Claysburg, PA and Burlington, NC.
- Perform local straight-truck deliveries in the greater Altoona and Western PA areas as needed.
- Assist in the warehouse by picking orders and stocking inventory.
- Maintain excellent customer service and ensure complete satisfaction upon delivery.
- Comply with all DOT regulations and safety protocols, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
Position & Equipment Details:
- Requires a valid CDL A license with a Hazmat Endorsement.
- Equipment used includes Sleeper Cabs and up to 53' trailers equipped with roll-up doors and liftgates.
- Deliveries involve both loading docks stops and pallet drops (supported with an electric pallet jack).
- Includes overnight travel when out of state.
