The Senior TC‑AIMS II Unit Move SME provides expert support to USAREUR‑AF mobility operations for unit deployment and redeployment processes. This role ensures accurate movement documentation, oversees Unit Move module execution, supports MCT/MCB operations, administers STAMIS hardware/software, and integrates mobility systems across the theater. The position supports expanding theater requirements driven by increased force rotational activity and G‑4 Mobility Operations Division needs.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
MFASTr System Administration & Training Support
Prepare deployment documentation including load plans, packing lists (DD Form 1750), and signature/tally records (DD Form 1907).
Provide technical support for movement request submissions within USAREUR‑AF timelines; resolve issues with units and MCTs.
Validate UDL accuracy; confirm piece counts for MUDL submissions.
Validate sensitive items, HAZMAT, Ag‑Wash sites, and onward movement to APOD/SPOD.
Coordinate with MCBs to deconflict CULT/commercial assets during movement operations.
Synchronize with SDDC OCCA Chiefs, booking agents, and planners regarding ETRR submissions, PCFNs, port calls, and DDST operations.
Support Transportation Discrepancy Reports (TDRs) and submit channel air requests via LTS.
Maintain, update, and troubleshoot Unit Move STAMIS hardware (Dell laptops, PM4i/PD43 printers, SAVI interrogators, SR61T scanners) and TIPS‑Write software.
Manage SAAR UM account requests and ensure correct unit code/permission alignment.
Review and validate OEL/UDL databases, correcting dimensional and configuration discrepancies.
Support UMOs in building segments, legs, ULNs; printing MSLs; exporting DD Form 1384 TCMDs; generating TAV files; uploading RF tags to national servers.
Provide OCONUS installation support including ordering deployment supplies and advising units on required materials.
Transportation Systems Support – CMOS, LTS & VANTAGE
Liaise with CMOS PMs; coordinate user access, troubleshooting, and VANTAGE integration.
Provide training sessions across theater for CMOS, LTS, and VANTAGE systems.
Manage access requests for transportation systems and maintain documentation/SOPs on G4 MOD SharePoint.
Support integration efforts between mobility systems and VANTAGE datasets.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Systems Administrator SME must have:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
Experience: 11+ years of relevant military/government network installation and systems/network administration experience.
Technical skills:
Senior-level experience with TC‑AIMS II Unit Move module and Army mobility processes.
Demonstrated expertise supporting deployment/redeployment operations and MCT/MCB workflows.
Experience with STAMIS hardware troubleshooting and TIPS‑Write.
Ability to train UMOs and manage large-scale mobility documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting USAREUR‑AF mobility operations.
Familiarity with SDDC, ACA, LTS, CMOS, and VANTAGE integration.
Prior support to rotational brigade deployments or RAF missions.
Certifications: DoD 8570 certification such as Security+ CE
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance required to start, must able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
Role requirements: Full-time, on-site in Grafenwöhr, Germany; occasional TDY travel
