Support Analyst, Revenue Systems


SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Support Analyst, Revenue Systems provides front-line operational and technical support for broadcast revenue applications and related business processes. The role supports users across Sales Operations, Traffic, Finance, Master Control, and Executive Leadership by resolving application, data, access, workflow, reporting, and performance issues.
This is a hands-on support position focused on responsive issue resolution, accurate documentation, data integrity, and reliable production operations. The analyst investigates problems, evaluates business impact, communicates findings, coordinates escalation when needed, and helps prevent recurring issues. Supported technologies include broadcast traffic or sales systems such as WideOrbit Traffic, MS SQL Server, Windows Server, and Remote Desktop environments.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide daily user and production support for revenue, traffic, sales, billing, and related operational systems.
• Troubleshoot application, data, integration, workflow, access, reporting, and performance issues; identify root cause and business impact.
• Write and execute SQL queries for troubleshooting, research, reconciliation, validation, and reporting support.
• Monitor data integrity across revenue systems and downstream or integrated platforms; investigate and coordinate correction of discrepancies.
• Support Windows Server and Remote Desktop environments associated with supported applications.
• Manage support tickets from intake through resolution, including prioritization, user communication, escalation, and closure documentation.
• Document troubleshooting steps, findings, system changes, recurring issues, support procedures, and user instructions.
• Assist with user administration, permissions, access reviews, and security requests in accordance with controlled-access procedures.
• Support SOX and change-control activities, including evidence gathering, access validation, testing, and production release support.
• Coordinate with business users, infrastructure and development teams, vendors, and senior analysts to resolve complex issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve support processes, data quality, system reliability, and user experience.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Entry-level to mid-level experience supporting business applications, revenue systems, broadcast systems, or comparable enterprise platforms.
• Basic understanding of over-the-air broadcast advertising operations and terminology.
• Experience with MS SQL Server and SQL queries used for troubleshooting, validation, research, or reporting.
• Experience supporting Windows Server and Remote Desktop or similar remote application environments.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and reading-comprehension skills, with the ability to interpret requirements, logs, system messages, procedures, and support tickets.
• Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical users; ability to translate business needs into practical support actions.
• Strong organization and documentation skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced support environment.
• Ability to work within secure production environments and follow access-control, separation-of-duties, data-handling, and change-management procedures.
• Ability to learn new applications, workflows, and business processes quickly.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience with WideOrbit Traffic or another broadcast traffic, ad sales, order management, revenue, or billing system.
• Experience supporting media, advertising, Sales Operations, Traffic, Finance, or Master Control processes.
• Experience with reporting, reconciliation, data quality, testing, release validation, vendor coordination, ITIL, ticketing, or incident management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range
$60,000$90,000 USD
