The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
Clean and maintain the plant facility (office, production and general areas) in a quality manner to ensure a safe and clean environment, meet a standard of cleanliness and ensure the entire facility operates at its highest level.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Job Duties to include, but not limited to, the following:

• Clean building floors by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, or scrubbing (operate a ride-on and/or autonomous floor scrubber).
• Collect and discard all waste from containers and segregate recyclable paper and cardboard from across the facility.
• Oversee operation of cardboard compactor and maintain cleanliness of compactor area.
• Service, clean, sanitize and supply rest rooms with paper towels, soap and toilet paper as needed.
• Clean and maintain stairway to stockroom and training rooms.
• Adjusts duties so that the cleaning needs of the facility are met.  Responds to special requests, completing them as soon as possible, giving suitable priority to immediate needs.
• Follow directions and perform duties and tasks as assigned; be self-directed
• Respond to customer requests and reports maintenance problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay & Benefits: 

• The starting rate of pay for this position is $20. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
