Community Sales Specialist

Position Summary: Our Community Sales Specialist II works as a concierge throughout the various community groups to identify and support each group’s needs. The focus of this role will be to ensure constant growth and overall support for our sales departments across the nation. By assisting with the relationships between our Home Building Facilities and their respective community customers across the nation, the Community Sales Specialist will coordinate needed efforts to help with building and maintaining successful partnerships.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Establish new accounts and grow existing business. Collect and document necessary forms, licenses, and payments, and accurately set up these groups in our internal systems. 
  • Responsible for producing reports on a weekly & monthly basis tracking sales volume, growth, A/R and backlogs.
  • Monitor and report on sales activity, inventory management, vacant spaces, new accounts, etc. for an overall heath check of the sales process.
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining knowledge of current and past relationships of community groups at each Home Building Facility.
  • Develop an empirical understanding of our community groups– their attitudes, behaviors, needs, and opportunities for future sales growth.
  • Build and sustain long-term, trust-based relationships with key partners, serving as a strategic advisor to drive mutual growth and new business opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for improving business processes to increase brand loyalty and drive customer referrals.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of group meetings, events, and travel, when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s (4 year) degree preferred with a focus in business, sales, economics, marketing, math or similar majors that require data-based decision making preferred.
  • High attention to detail and ability to think both critically and analytically.
  • Must have great communication skills, written and verbal and ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Must continuously use the highest level of personal integrity and business ethics. Faithfully executes all applicable regulations of local, state and federal authorities.
  • Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Motivated and self-starter.
  • Willing to learn, hard-working, determined, and assertive.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as required to support business needs.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and / or pulling.
  • Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
  • Work environment is not temperature controlled and may result in exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Work primarily involves sitting / standing, up to 4 hours at a time
