Leasing Professional
Join a Team Where Your Leasing Skills Make an Impact!
A hands-on, growth-oriented multifamily operator is seeking a motivated Leasing Professional to join its onsite team. This is an opportunity for a confident, personable leasing professional who enjoys working with people, thrives in a high-volume environment, and knows how to turn prospects into residents while delivering an exceptional resident experience.
Proven leasing success matters more than simply years of experience. We're looking for someone with strong sales instincts, a positive personality, and the ability to stay composed, professional, and solution-focused when the pace gets busy.
The company values its people and promotes from within whenever possible. Leadership takes an active role in the communities, and bonus opportunities are customized by property rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
What You'll Do
- Manage the full leasing lifecycle, from initial prospect inquiry through application, lease execution, and move-in.
- Respond to prospective residents quickly and professionally, building relationships and identifying their needs.
- Conduct engaging in-person and virtual apartment tours, showcasing the community, amenities, floor plans, and lifestyle.
- Follow up consistently with prospects to maximize lead conversion, applications, and leases.
- Prepare and review lease documents and ensure a smooth, professional move-in experience.
- Maintain apartments, models, amenities, and common areas to tour-ready and show-ready standards.
- Build strong relationships with current residents and serve as a resource for questions, concerns, and service needs.
- Partner with maintenance and management teams to ensure resident requests are addressed promptly.
- Support resident retention and renewal efforts by creating a positive community experience.
- Assist with resident events, community programming, and engagement initiatives.
- Conduct competitive market research and stay informed on local apartment market trends, rents, availability, and competitors.
- Create and distribute resident communications and support property marketing initiatives.
- Utilize company technology and property management systems to accurately track prospects, applications, leases, and resident information.
- Maintain compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies.
What We're Looking For
- Proven success in leasing, sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, or another high-volume, customer-facing environment.
- Previous multifamily leasing experience is preferred, but a strong sales track record and the right personality can be equally valuable.
- A confident, personable communicator who genuinely enjoys interacting with people.
- Strong sales and closing skills with the ability to convert tours and leads into leases.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining organized, professional, and composed under pressure.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree or industry certifications preferred.
- Valid driver's license and flexibility to work weekends as needed.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and multifamily leasing practices is a plus.
- Experience with Yardi, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
Why Join the Team?
This is a company where performance is recognized and people have opportunities to grow. Leadership is hands-on, internal promotions are encouraged, and compensation can include property-specific bonus opportunities.
If you're an energetic Leasing Consultant, Leasing Professional, Sales Professional, or customer-focused hospitality professional who loves working with people and knows how to deliver results, this could be a great opportunity to build your multifamily career!
