Claim System Specialist

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Configure new client accounts within the CTABS claims management system.
  • Establish and maintain account structures, banking information, service level agreements (SLAs), policies, locations, and related system configurations.
  • Perform account modifications and updates to support client and business requirements.
  • Validate configuration accuracy and troubleshoot setup issues.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality and system integrity across client accounts.
  • Support implementation of new programs and operational initiatives within CTABS.
  • Administer role-based security and system permissions in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Conduct periodic user access reviews and maintain documentation supporting compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate and support SOC audit activities, including testing, documentation collection, evidence preparation, and remediation tracking.
  • Assist in maintaining governance and control processes related to system access and data management.
  • Participate in operational, technology, and process improvement projects.
  • Perform data cleanup and data integrity initiatives involving client records, account information, and system databases.
  • Analyze operational requests, identify appropriate solutions, and escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Assist with system enhancement efforts, testing, implementation activities, and change management initiatives.
  • Support ad hoc reporting, operational analysis, and strategic projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing

High school diploma or GED required

Licenses as needed.

Experience

Three (3) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 

Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of claims management systems, account configuration, or similar enterprise applications.
  • Understanding of user security administration and role-based access controls.
  • Ability to analyze business requests and determine appropriate system configurations.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Experience supporting audit, compliance, or internal control activities.
  • Knowledge of database concepts and data relationships.
  • Basic understanding of SQL queries, scripts, system integrations, or data structures preferred.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
