Job Description

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and process shipping documentation accurately and on time to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate export and import shipments, including flight, vessel, and container bookings.

  • Liaise with freight forwarders, transport providers, customs authorities, government agencies, and customers to ensure smooth shipment execution.

  • Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates and shipping notifications to customers.

  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, shipping discrepancies, and logistics-related issues.

  • Verify freight and logistics invoices and coordinate payment processing with Finance.

  • Perform SAP transactions related to export shipments, import materials, and external sterilization activities.

  • Support product recalls, inventory segregation, and related system transactions.

  • Maintain shipping records, SOPs, audit documentation, and document control systems such as QDMS.

  • Act as the main point of contact for internal and external audits related to logistics and shipping documentation.

  • Collaborate closely with Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams on shipment planning and delivery schedules.

  • Prepare and maintain monthly logistics and warehouse reports.

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in transportation, freight handling, and warehouse administration.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with GMP, SOX, customs regulations, and quality standards.

  • Support workplace safety and environmental sustainability initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, shipping, import/export, or supply chain operations.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP is required.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet applications.

  • Good understanding of import/export documentation and customs regulations.

  • Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, transport providers, and external stakeholders.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or regulated environment is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of GMP, quality systems, or audit requirements will be beneficial.
