AI Project Manager
Remote - LATAM· Full-time · Reports to Head of Task Force Delivery
About Rad Hires
Rad Hires is a recruiting partner that helps founder-led, growing companies build remote and nearshore teams across Latin America — matching them with vetted, AI-fluent talent.
About the Company
Our client is a business consulting and advisory firm that partners with founder-led companies (roughly 10–100 employees) to close the gap between what they want to build and what actually gets done. They work in two phases: first building a roadmap/master project plan, then bringing in an embedded, fractional execution team to deliver it. They work in long-term, embedded engagements — on the client's systems, in their standups, as an extension of the client's own team. The company is AI-native: the whole team works inside Claude for reporting, tracking, and knowledge management, and this shows up across all their roles.
About the Role
This is a newly dedicated position — today, project coordination is handled informally between the Head of Task Force Delivery and the EA team, and it isn't sustainable as the portfolio grows. You'll own keeping a portfolio of roughly two dozen active client projects (across ~6 client accounts, up to 7 projects per client) on track: status, budgets, follow-up, and new-engagement setup. You'll also build out the company's live client portfolio dashboard directly in Claude (today it's a Google Sheet) so leadership has a real-time, integrated view. This is client-facing project work, not internal operations.
What You'll Do
-
Pull and maintain weekly status updates, budgets, and reports across all active client engagements.
-
Chase task owners across trackers so nothing slips — and know when a "done" deliverable still needs a follow-up question, not just a checkmark.
-
Stand up new client engagements end-to-end: folders, trackers, Claude projects, and access — the reporting/tracking workflows already exist, but you need the "builder" skill to configure them for each new engagement.
-
Build and maintain a live client portfolio dashboard inside the company's Claude environment, replacing the current Google Sheet.
-
Keep the full portfolio current enough that leadership can make decisions from it at any time.
What We're Looking For
-
Real, hands-on fluency with Claude — using Claude projects, skills, and workflows as a core part of how you work, not a nice-to-have.
-
Strong organizational skill and detail orientation — you can hold a large portfolio of engagements and keep everything current, on time, without things falling through the cracks.
-
Critical thinking and business acumen. This is a non-negotiable: the client explicitly does not want a PM who just pings people for status updates. They want someone who looks at a deliverable, notices what's actually off, and follows up with the specific right question to move it to completion.
-
Comfortable operating in ambiguity — this client's own stakeholders are often chaotic and speak in generalities; you need to bring clarity and a confident recommendation, not wait for clear instructions.
Signals We Love
-
An "initiator" mindset — you finish things and push through, rather than opening cans of worms and leaving them open.
-
You can sense what's going on in a messy, gray-area situation and give a confident recommendation instead of waiting to be told what to do.
This Role Might Not Be for You If
-
You need clear, structured instructions before you can act — this client's environment is intentionally fast-moving and undefined in places.
-
You see project management as sending reminders rather than digging into whether the work is actually right.
