HAIRSTYLIST – CRUISE SHIP

Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Hairstylist to join a cruise ship spa team. The successful candidate will provide professional hair services to international guests while delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced onboard environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional haircuts, styling and colouring services.
• Consult with guests to understand their hair needs and preferences.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and professionalism.
• Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming guest experience.
• Recommend suitable hair treatments and products where appropriate.
• Maintain and care for professional hairdressing equipment.
• Work effectively as part of an international spa team.

Requirements

• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Recognised Hairdressing Qualification.
• Minimum 2 years' professional experience.
• Strong skills in cutting, styling and colouring.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Cruise ship or spa experience is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Hairstylists must provide their own professional tools, including hairdryers, buzz cutters, brushes and other essential equipment.

• Valid Passport
• Schengen Visa (for non-EU residents)
• Brazil Visa (required unless South African)
• Seaman's Book
• Valid STCW Certificates
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Vaccination Records, including Yellow Fever
• Full Resume/CV and References
• Recent Full-Length Photo
• Demonstrated Cruise Ship Spa Experience
• Fluency in English and Portuguese
