Pratt & Whitney is seeking an experienced, customer‑oriented Product Owner to help bridge the gap between business challenges and technology solutions.

This role resides within the Enablement Team of the F135 Program Digital Solutions organization. The Enablement Team empowers business groups with tools and methods to securely build their own analytics, workflows, automations, and data products on enterprise platforms. We ensure consistent practices and smooth adoption of RTX digital and data capabilities across the business. A key emphasis for this role includes leveraging agentic AI and data mesh principles to drive innovation and value.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with agile development methodologies, including design and implementation. The Product Owner will track enterprise technology releases to ensure alignment with organizational standards, frameworks, and strategic direction. A successful candidate will quickly develop a deep understanding of business user challenges, their job‑to‑be‑done, and be able to articulate a clear, compelling vision for delivering business value.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and clearly communicate the Product Vision
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs
  • Create and refine Product Backlog items
  • Prioritize and order Product Backlog items for maximum business value
  • Ensure transparency, visibility, and shared understanding of the Product Backlog
  • Collaborate with team members and the enterprise throughout development and delivery
  • Communicate the delivered business value effectively to stakeholders
  • Support the Product Manager in strategic and tactical planning

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. STEM degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of Software product development experience; Or an advanced degree with 7+ years of Software product development experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Practical experience across multiple digital and data domains, including data platforms and open architecture.
  • Working knowledge of DevOps, JIRA, or comparable agile management tools.
  • Familiarity with AGENTIC AI.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
