About the role
We are looking for a Technical & Business Coordinator to join our airport fuel operations team in Budapest Airport, Hungary. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading company in the energy and aviation fuels sector, supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of airport fuel facilities and into-plane refuelling activities. The role is based at Fuel Storage depot in an international airport environment and combines operational leadership, engineering coordination, business management, HSSE excellence, and continuous improvement. The position supports the management of airport fuel installations and aviation fuel supply operations across Hungary.
Working within an international team, you will collaborate with operational, engineering, commercial, and HSSE professionals while gaining exposure to regional and global stakeholders. This role offers real opportunities for professional development and career growth within a dynamic and safety-critical industry.
In this role You will
- Support the management of airport fuel facilities and aviation fuel operations.
- Ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of airport fuel installations.
- Coordinate operational activities, maintenance programs, and engineering projects.
- Drive HSSE performance and ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage operational budgets, performance indicators, and cost improvement initiatives.
- Lead risk management activities and support assurance, audit, and compliance programs.
- Oversee product quality management throughout the aviation fuel supply chain.
- Support capital investment projects, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
- Develop operational excellence through continuous improvement and operational discipline.
- Promote digitalization, innovation, and data-driven decision-making across the operation.
- Coach and support operational teams to maintain high performance and competence standards.
What You will need to be successful
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Operations management
- Oil & gas, energy, or fuel-related industries
- Aviation operations
- International or multicultural business environments
- Experience managing operational performance, safety, compliance, or technical activities.
- Exposure to airport operations or critical infrastructure environments is an advantage.
- University degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business software tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Interest in continuous improvement, operational excellence, and digital transformation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, safety-critical operational environment.
