Utility Tech Job Responsibilities:

Summary: Responsible for providing technical and troubleshooting support, maintenance, and repairs to Facility equipment to reduce equipment downtime, and meet production schedules.

* Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment availability. 

*Troubleshoots, repairs and interfaces with Boilers, Plumbing, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic equipment.

*Works in a safe manner at all times and is trained in Arc Flash, Lock out Tag Out, Basic Electrical safety, ladder safety, and other plant programs.

*Able and willing to work overtime when required.

*Able to monitor and maintain water chemical treatment.

*Must be able to complete training and receive Arkansas State Boiler license.

Job Requirements:

*Minimum HS Diploma or GED equivalent required, related certificate from a college or technical school AA degree preferred, or equivalent training and experience.

*Experience in a manufacturing environment, Industrial Manufacturing, Facility Maintenance.

*Electrical/electronic knowledge, strong mechanical skills, maintenance repair, Boiler and related equipment, Welding, Plumbing, Minor Carpentry and HVAC skills preferred.

*Ability to Read Blueprints preferred.

*Able to work with limited supervision, have strong teamwork and communication skills, both verbally and written, good documentation skills, strong computer skills, customer oriented, work effectively under stressful conditions.

* Able to operate Forklift/Walkie Rider/Skyjack preferred.

*Must be able to lift 50lbs or more.

*Must be able to complete training and receive Arkansas State Boiler license.
