Role/Team overview

At Sky Sports, we bring people across the UK closer to the sport they love through live coverage, standout storytelling and experiences that work brilliantly across every platform. As viewing habits change, we are always looking for better ways to serve our customers, support our teams and deliver great content with pace, care and ambition.

This is a great opportunity to support senior leaders at the heart of Sky Sports, helping a busy team stay organised, connected and prepared so that meetings, decisions and day-to-day priorities run smoothly.

What you’ll do

  • Proactively manage busy and frequently changing diaries, including room bookings, video calls and scheduling for senior leaders and their teams.

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support, including hospitality, meeting materials, visitor coordination and expenses.

  • Support key meetings by preparing agendas and materials, capturing actions and helping with follow-up so meetings feel well organised and worthwhile.

  • Respond to enquiries efficiently and professionally, resolving issues where appropriate and acting as a trusted point of contact for senior leaders.

  • Arrange domestic and international business travel, including itineraries, flights, rail and taxis.

  • Act as a delegate for senior leaders on Sky systems including Ariba, Spark and Sky Life, supporting approvals, requests and other administrative tasks.

  • Provide flexible support across Sky Sports teams as required, including people engagement, culture activity and events.

  • Support new starters by coordinating onboarding, system set-up and equipment requests.

  • Note-taking in HR meetings, ensuring complete discretion and accurate notes.

 What you’ll bring

  • Several years' experience working as a PA or EA in a fast moving production, sports or similar environment where pace and deadlines are part of everyday life.

  • A warm, confident and approachable style, with a flexible, can-do attitude.

  • Strong organisational skills, good time management and close attention to detail.

  • The ability to stay calm under pressure, work to tight timescales and solve problems proactively.

  • Sound judgement in prioritising and managing senior stakeholder needs.

  • A methodical approach, with the ability to anticipate what is needed and follow through accurately.

  • Maturity, discretion and initiative when handling confidential or time-sensitive matters.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally.

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel, as well as database systems.

  • Curiosity about AI and new tools, with an interest in exploring how they can make administrative work, meeting preparation and follow-up easier and more effective.

  • A motivated, self-starting approach and a desire to do great work.

  • Willingness to take on new challenges and adapt as priorities change.

  • Knowledge of, or an interest in, sport is not essential, but it may make the role even more enjoyable.
