Your mission

Position: Full-time or parttime | 24-40 hours per week
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands | Hybrid (2–3 days in the office)
Reports to: VP Fraud Engineering / Commercial Leadership

As our Field Marketing Manager, your mission is to strengthen ThreatFabric’s position within the global fraud prevention and financial services community by creating marketing activities that lead to meaningful conversations, stronger customer relationships, and measurable commercial opportunities.

You will work at the intersection of marketing and sales, taking ownership of our global event programme, regional campaigns, partner marketing initiatives, customer engagement activities, and marketing operations. You will help ensure that every event and campaign has a clear purpose, reaches the right audience, and contributes to our commercial objectives.

This role provides plenty of room to make it your own. You may already be an experienced field marketer who enjoys the energy and ownership that come with working in a scale-up. Alternatively, you may be a motivated marketing professional who is ready to broaden your responsibilities and grow towards a marketing leadership position.

Your impact will go beyond organising successful events. You will help ThreatFabric build stronger relationships with financial institutions, strategic partners, and industry experts. By connecting our expertise with the right audiences, you will contribute directly to our mission of protecting financial institutions and their customers against modern fraud, scams, and cybercrime.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Event marketing

  • Own the planning and execution of ThreatFabric's global event programme. 
  • Manage conferences, customer events, roundtables, breakfast briefings, workshops, webinars, and executive dinners; coordinate logistics, suppliers, venues, merchandise, speakers, registrations, and event collateral. 
  • Create event briefs and ensure alignment across sales, marketing, product, and leadership teams. Manage event timelines and deliverables from inception through post-event review. 
  • Develop and maintain standardised event processes, documentation, templates, and playbooks.  

Demand generation and pipeline creation
  • Work closely with regional sales teams to support pipeline and revenue objectives. 
  • Execute targeted campaigns before, during, and after events. 
  • Manage attendee acquisition programmes and event promotion activities. 
  • Coordinate lead management and handover processes. 
  • Ensure timely follow-up and nurture activities following campaigns and events. 
  • Support account-based marketing initiatives targeting strategic prospects.  

Partner marketing
  • Build and execute joint marketing initiatives with strategic partners. 
  • Coordinate co-sponsored events, webinars, content programmes, and campaigns. 
  • Develop marketing plans that increase partner engagement and joint pipeline generation. 
  • Maintain productive relationships with industry associations and ecosystem partners.

Marketing operations and HubSpot
  • Maintain and improve marketing processes and workflows. 
  • Support campaign execution within HubSpot. 
  • Manage segmentation, lists, campaign tracking, and reporting. 
  • Ensure marketing data quality and consistency. 
  • Work with sales to optimise lead lifecycle management and attribution.  

Reporting and performance analysis
  • Establish clear performance metrics for all marketing activities. 
  • Measure event ROI, campaign effectiveness, and pipeline contribution. 
  • Produce post-event reports and recommendations. 
  • Analyse marketing performance and identify opportunities for improvement. 
  • Maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks that demonstrate marketing impact.  

Planning and strategy
  • Contribute to the annual field marketing strategy and event calendar. 
  • Evaluate industry events, memberships, sponsorship opportunities, and community initiatives. 
  • Recommend investments and priorities based on business objectives and expected return. 
  • Identify innovative marketing opportunities that support ThreatFabric's growth strategy.


Who are we looking for?

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B field marketing, event marketing, demand generation, or related roles, more experienced candidates are welcome! 
  • Experience working within cybersecurity, fraud prevention, fintech, financial services, SaaS, or enterprise software sectors. 
  • Proven experience managing industry conferences, customer events, and engagement programmes. 
  • Experience working closely with sales teams and revenue-focused organisations. 
  • Strong project management capabilities and ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives. 
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms. 
  • Experience reporting against lead generation, opportunity creation, pipeline, and ROI metrics.

Skills & Competencies 
Essential 
  • You wouldn’t be surprised we need organisational skills, strong communication and stakeholder management abilities 
  • Project management skills, you chase the outcome and have attention to detail 
  • Commercial awareness and revenue orientation 
  • Ability to work independently / self starter

Desirable 
  • Understanding of fraud prevention, scams, cybercrime, financial crime, or cybersecurity 
  • Experience with ABM programmes 
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics and reporting 
  • Experience working internationally across multiple regions 
  • Budget management experience
