Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and nurturing care to children and individuals with diverse needs. Duties

  • Provide attentive supervision and care for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, early learning, social skills, and behavioral management.
  • Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws, maintaining child supervision at all times, and executing first aid or CPR procedures when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily activities to foster trust and transparency.
  • Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance to promote inclusion.
  • Maintain a clean, organized environment that supports developmental activities and adheres to health and safety standards.
  • Document daily observations, activity outcomes, and any incidents accurately in compliance with organizational policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children across various settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting or nannying roles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is highly valued.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred.
  • Ability to plan age-appropriate activities for infants through elementary school-age children that foster learning and fun.
  • Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
  • Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare.
  • Passion for caregiving with a positive attitude, patience, flexibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
