Finance Techno-Functional Consultant (Oracle EBS)

KalSoft is currently looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Financial Functional Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong functional knowledge of Oracle Financial modules combined with hands-on technical expertise in Oracle EBS. The candidate will be responsible for supporting, enhancing, and implementing Oracle Financial solutions while bridging the gap between business finance users and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements from Finance and Accounting departments and translate them into effective Oracle EBS solutions.
• Configure, support, enhance, and optimize Oracle Financial modules, including:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Cash Management (CM)
  • iExpenses
• Conduct requirement-gathering workshops with Finance and Accounting stakeholders.
• Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Fit-Gap Analysis, and Solution Design Documents.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Ensure Oracle EBS Financial solutions comply with banking regulations, audit requirements, and financial reporting standards.
• Provide functional support, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Oracle EBS Financial applications.
• Work closely with technical teams on customizations, integrations, reports, and workflows.
• Support Oracle EBS integrations with banking systems and third-party applications.
• Analyze and resolve system performance and data-related issues.
• Participate in system testing, UAT, deployment, and post-production support activities.
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and delivery of Oracle Financial solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and optimize Oracle EBS functionality.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of overall professional experience in Oracle EBS Financials or related Oracle ERP environments.
• Strong functional experience with Oracle EBS Financial modules, particularly GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, and iExpenses.
• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting business processes.
• Hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12.
• Strong knowledge of requirement gathering, functional analysis, and solution design.
• Experience preparing FRDs, Fit-Gap Analysis, and Solution Design Documents.
• Experience supporting month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
• Experience working with banking environments, financial institutions, or regulated industries is preferred.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations, audit requirements, and financial reporting standards.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Experience with Oracle Workflow, XML Publisher, and Oracle Reports.
• Experience working with Oracle EBS customizations, integrations, reports, and workflows.
• Experience with system testing, UAT, deployment, and production support.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to effectively bridge communication between Finance/Accounting users and technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
