Job Description:

The position is part of Royal Canin Global Engineering reporting to Global Technical Leader Maintenance, SiG, Utilities. This new position aligns with organizational structure already established for Royal Canin North America and Europe.

This pivotal role works closely with Global, Regional, and local functions to drive our transformation agenda across Royal Canin factories in APAC to achieve World Class Maintenance according to Royal Canin Strategy and deliver Mars Decarbonization targets on scope 1 and 2.


Key Responsibilities


Develops Safety awareness of maintenance associates

Promotes corporate safety programs and targets

Builds awareness by presenting safety events from Royal Canin and Mars factories and supports best practices sharing across sites

Shares and discuss findings from insurance corporate audits

 

Drives Maintenance Transformation through Royal Canin Maintenance Strategy

Aligns Region Stakeholders on Royal Canin Global Maintenance Strategy. Engages site leadership and technical teams on the program

Support program implementation with remote and on-site “Teach, Coach, Assess” activities

Leads deployment and continuous improvement on Royal Canin standard Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and other maintenance tools including Predictive Maintenance and AI.

Facilitates Maintenance workshops to drive Standardization of assets maintenance

Co-leads with Indirect Commercial, activities on Maintenance Repair Operation (MRO) with selected supplier


Leads Mars Sustainability in a Generation (SIG) Program, and Royal Canin SIG agenda

Serves as the Region's ambassador for Mars Sustainability Program on Operations, with a required focus on scope 1 emissions

Drives initiatives on energy monitoring, energy reduction, decarbonization projects across sites.

Supports the implementation of SIG KPIs in daily management system (FMOS) and coach Energy Monitoring users

Facilitates SIG workshops to drive gap closure against the Mars SIG Playbook to reduce energy footprint through OPEX and CAPEX projects

Conducts period performance review

Responsible for period reporting according to defined timeline. Ensures data qualityo   Leads sites period performance both on Maintenance and SIG using Global KPIs with Technical Managers and Site SiG lead


Supports Engineering Team on projectso   Collaborates with engineering team on projects design and write up according to PM Pillar and SiG by Design standardso   Supports Commissioning and Validation activities related to maintenance activities


Priority Settings

Deploys Maintenance 3-year plan according to Global plan, leveraging Regional business needs and Do it BestPrioritizes with sites CAB projects for gap closure on SiG Playbook, energy efficiency initiatives, Utilities Masterplan, Decarbonization, Exceptional maintenance,Review CAB submission prioritization with Industrial Engineers through a 3-year planundefined


Develops Resources

Actively coach and develop technical talent in the Region. Position plays a key role in recruiting, training, and succession plans pathways that build a robust maintenance and SiG communityo   Develops sites maintenance teams according to Maintenance strategy and specific MSE PM Pillar requirements. Coordinates technical trainings requirements across sitesHelps create viable career paths that ensure Talent is developed and retained within Royal Canin and Mars. 


Job Specifications/Qualifications

Engineering school/University Degree in Engineering, Maintenance, Significant Experience (5 Yrs. +) on Maintenance Management and Reliability Journey deploying successfully TPM, Lean Manufacturing. Experience in Managing and Developing Diverse Teams
