By joining this team, you will work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 18:00, in a hybrid setup from our Bucharest office.
Language Requirements: Fluent English is mandatory. French or Italian is highly preferred, as the role will involve business interaction with stakeholders across different markets. German, Spanish, Portuguese and Nordic languages are also considered a plus.
As a Meetings & Events Central Operations Planner Analyst, you will join the Meetings & Events Planning Central of Excellence, supporting the coordination and operational delivery of global Meetings & Events.
In this role, you will contribute to the end-to-end event lifecycle, from receiving and qualifying event requests through planning, approvals, execution support and event closure. You will work closely with Market Units, local Event Planners and internal stakeholders, helping ensure that events are delivered in line with policies, processes, budgets and quality standards.
This is a global role with EMEA exposure, where attention to detail, strong organization and stakeholder management are key to success.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Manage incoming event requests into M&E, validate data, qualify requirements through the Policy lens and guide requestors throughout the process.
Support event qualification, venue sourcing and related planning activities, including collaboration with relevant sourcing partners.
Coordinate planning activities including budget tracking, purchase orders and travel or additional approvals, ensuring alignment with guidelines.
Provide stakeholder support and timely issue escalation management to ensure consistent and satisfactory delivery across Market Units.
Own and oversee event closure activities, including financial reconciliation, invoice tracking, audit support and data accuracy in reporting systems.
Skills that make your work successful:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of relevant Meetings Management / Corporate Meeting Planner experience in a multinational organization.
Hands-on experience in event planning, venue sourcing, supplier coordination, budget management, attendee management and on-site event execution.
Experience with event technology tools, preferably Cvent, StarCite, Eved, Delphi, Opera or similar.
Solid understanding of Strategic Meetings Management concepts and the end-to-end event lifecycle.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Strong Microsoft Office skills and excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
Additional European languages are highly valued, particularly French or Italian; German, Spanish, Portuguese and Nordic languages are considered a plus.
