Job Description

As a Security Officer - Call Center Access Control in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will maintain a professional presence while helping to deter security-related incidents through clear communication and attention to detail. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Operate the front desk by greeting guests, verifying identification and access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate contacts or areas.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems as assigned; report unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
