IBM Senior Technical Specialist

WE ARE HIRING: SENIOR TECHNICAL SPECIALIST – IBM ECM

Location: Cape Town
Contract Type: 6 Months
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Specialist with strong IBM Enterprise Content Management (ECM) experience to join a technical team supporting and enhancing enterprise content management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support solutions using the IBM Content Management suite
• Work with IBM Content Manager, IBM Content Manager OnDemand, IBM Content Navigator and IBM Records Manager
• Implement, install, upgrade and maintain IBM-related third-party packages
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and operating procedures
• Perform task estimations and provide work allocation recommendations
• Execute and support Disaster Recovery processes and testing
• Participate in Proof of Concepts (POCs)
• Maintain and enhance systems according to business requirements and approved technology standards
• Provide production support and participate in standby duties
• Evaluate products and technologies
• Report on technical task progress
• Share knowledge and support team members

Requirements

• Relevant IT Degree or Diploma
• Minimum 5 years' IBM Content Management experience
• Strong experience with:
• IBM Content Manager
• IBM Content Manager OnDemand
• IBM Content Navigator
