Description

The Foundation

We are the largest nonprofit fighting poverty, disease, and inequity around the world. Founded on a simple premise: people everywhere, regardless of identity or circumstances, should have the chance to live healthy, productive lives. We believe our employees should reflect the rich diversity of the global populations we aim to serve. We provide an exceptional benefits package to employees and their families which include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with no premiums, generous paid time off, paid family leave, foundation-paid retirement contribution, regional holidays, and opportunities to engage in several employee communities. As a workplace, we’re committed to creating an environment for you to thrive both personally and professionally.

The Team

The People team, with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, takes on complex challenges; we continually test new approaches and embrace change where it will facilitate the best outcome. You'll work alongside a diverse group of HR professionals who are passionate about creating an excellent employee experience, providing client-focused solutions, and implementing consistent and equitable people practices.

Our Talent Acquisition team is responsible for partnering with leaders and managers to find the best global talent available to help the organization meet its diverse and important strategies and missions. We develop and execute effective and consistent talent sourcing and selection strategies to hire candidates for various positions ranging from leadership to entry level around the globe.

The team comprises several US-based recruiters who primarily support recruitment across the United States. In addition, the team includes regionally based recruiters in India, Nigeria, and the UK who lead recruitment efforts across Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal, and South Africa), Europe, Middle East and East Asia (Germany, Saudi Arabia, and the UK), as well as India and China, and a few ad hoc locations.

The team supports recruitment across multiple time zones; therefore, flexibility is required to accommodate global teams and business needs. The team operates collaboratively, with recruiters working closely to support one another and ensure seamless delivery across regions. To maintain this flexibility, US-based recruiters may occasionally support regional recruitment efforts, while regionally based recruiters may also be called upon to support recruitment for US-based roles as business priorities evolve.

Your Role

We are seeking a driven, agile, and collaborative Global Recruiting Partner to lead end-to-end regional recruitment across a broad portfolio of programmatic and operational roles, from individual contributor positions through to senior leadership, supporting multiple divisions across the foundation.

In this role, you will champion the foundation's employee value proposition to attract, engage, and hire a diverse pipeline of exceptional talent from around the world in support of our mission. You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative sourcing and research strategies to identify and engage highly specialized technical and operational talent for our global offices.

You will bring a consultative mindset and serve as a trusted talent advisor, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand their business needs, challenge assumptions, provide market insights, and guide informed hiring decisions. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders while delivering an exceptional recruitment experience for both hiring managers and candidates.

The successful candidate will be able to manage a high volume of recruitment activity while maintaining a consistently high-quality experience for both candidates and hiring managers. You will possess exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, and demonstrate the agility to balance competing priorities while delivering exceptional hiring outcomes.

The position will be based in Nairobi, and report to the Senior Global Recruiting Manager based in India.
