Sr Project Manager (Rail & Transit)

Job Description

Overview 

 

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Project Manager in our San Franscisco, CA office. An experienced and autonomous project manager responsible for large, complex, and/or multi-disciplinary projects. Provides leadership to the project team and serves as the primary client contact, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. Functions as a mentor to other PMs and technical staff.

 

 

Your role 

 

·          Leads the project team in executing all phases of the project lifecycle.

·          Independently develops and manages project scope, schedule, and budget.

·          Develops and implements comprehensive Project Management Plans.

·          Manages all financial aspects of the project.

·          Approves subconsultant and vendor invoices.

·          Proactively identifies and manages budget variances and communicates financial performance to senior management.

·          Serves as the primary point of contact for the client.

·          Leads contract negotiations.

·          Represents the firm and client at public hearings and regulatory meetings.

·           Leads and directs multi-disciplinary project teams.

·           Mentors Project Managers and Associate PMs.

·          Identifies new business opportunities and participates in proposals.

About you 

·          Bachelor’s degree is required; Graduate degree is desirable. 10+ years professional experience, 5-8 years of direct project management experience.

·         PMP certification or equivalent is required or must be obtained within one year of appointment.

Additional information 

 

Expected compensation range is between $130,000- $216,600 annually depending on skills and

 experience.
