The Brand Manager will serve as a key business leader for Nicorette & Nicoderm, responsible for driving growth through business performance management, customer engagement, and innovation. Operating with a General Manager mindset, this role will own the brand's commercial performance, customer growth and turnaround agenda while leading cross-functional teams to deliver business results.
This individual will be accountable for helping set the strategic direction of the business, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring excellence in execution across the organization.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and innovation experience with the ability to influence across Marketing, Sales, Finance, R&D, Supply Chain, Analytics, and Customer teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a key business owner for Nicorette and Nicoderm, accountable for achieving revenue, market share, household penetration, and profit objectives.
- Lead our alliance partnership, partnering with external stakeholders to ensure supply chain continuity and executional excellence.
- Direct the brand's analytical agenda, ensuring focus on the most important business questions and growth opportunities, in partnership with analytics.
- Lead our social transformation and ecommerce growth agenda, particularly with media to maximize ROIs and strategically investment funding.
- Translate business insights into actionable growth strategies, investment priorities, and business decisions. Build consumer-led growth strategies informed by market trends, consumer insights, and category dynamics.
- Monitor category trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth.
- Partner with innovation to lead the development and execution of the Nicorette innovation pipeline, including new products, line extensions, packaging improvements, and commercialization initiatives.
- Monitor innovation performance and optimize plans to maximize return on investment.
- Identify whitespace opportunities and emerging consumer needs that can fuel future growth.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, agility, and continuous learning.
- Ensure strong execution of brand initiatives through effective delegation and team leadership.
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority to deliver key business priorities.
- Build strong partnerships across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, R&D, Consumer Insights, Analytics, Regulatory, and External Agencies.
- Drive alignment around business priorities and resource allocation.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership and provide clear recommendations supported by business insights.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Brand Management, Marketing, Commercial Strategy, Innovation, or related CPG leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success managing business performance and delivering growth.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex initiatives.
- Strong financial acumen including forecasting, P&L management, business case development, and investment analysis.
- Experience translating insights into strategic business actions and recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA
- Experience commercializing innovation from concept through launch.
- Experience working with major retailers and omnichannel selling environments.
- Experience in health, wellness, food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods industries.
*The position is based in Warren, NJ, and follows a hybrid model, requiring an in-office presence of 3 days per week.
The salary range for this role is $ 136,168 - $ 195,637 USD annually
